🔧 You're installing a private beta build. CA Enhancer isn't publicly listed yet, but you can still install it in one click below using our invite link. Thanks for being an early tester!
1
Install CA Enhancer
Click below to open the private beta listing on the Chrome Web Store, then click "Add to Chrome." No manual file steps needed.
Add to Chrome →
Using Microsoft Edge? The Edge Add-ons listing is coming soon — we'll send you an install link once it's approved.
2
Confirm it's working
Go to your store's ConsignorAccess page (e.g. yourstore.consignoraccess.com). You should see a small floating pill at the top of the page that says "CA Enhancer, By The Knotty Crafters, LLC - ON", along with a small status badge and a gear icon.
3
Create your CA Enhancer account
Click the small status badge in the header (it'll say "Log In"). This opens a small login/signup box.
Important
This is a brand new, separate account — a different email/password than your ConsignorAccess store login. The two are not connected.
- Enter your email and choose a password.
- Click "Sign Up." (A username is generated for you automatically from your email — there's nothing else to fill in.)
- Check your email for a verification link. (New accounts occasionally land in spam at first — worth a quick check there if you don't see it.)
4
Link your store
- Click the ⚙ gear icon to open Settings.
- Scroll to the "⭐ Account & Premium" section.
- Click "🔗 Link This Store." This opens the account portal in a new browser tab — you're already signed in there automatically.
- On that portal tab, fill in your store's ConsignorAccess details (store address, consignor ID, a name/label for the store) and enter your ConsignorAccess password.
What this actually does
Your ConsignorAccess password is entered on the portal page, never inside the extension itself. It's encrypted and stored securely so CA Enhancer can check for new activity on your behalf (like the hourly notification checks) without asking you to log in every time. You can unlink a store anytime from the portal, which permanently deletes the stored credentials.
You'll see a confirmation on the portal tab once it's linked. Switch back to your original ConsignorAccess tab when you're done — CA Enhancer picks up the change automatically.
5
Start your Premium trial (optional)
Still in the Account & Premium section, click "⭐ Start Premium (5-day free trial)." This opens a secure Stripe checkout page in a new tab — enter your card details there (you won't be charged during the 5-day trial).
Once you're done, just come back to this tab — your Premium status updates on its own within a few seconds.
6
Choose how you're notified (optional)
Sale notifications (Premium) can go by email, by text message, or both — you control this from the account portal at app.theknottycraftersllc.com, not from inside the extension.
- Log in at app.theknottycraftersllc.com and find the "Notification Destination" card. This sets the email and/or phone number used across every store you have linked.
- Email notifications work automatically using your login email — no extra setup needed. To also enable text messages, enter a US phone number, check the SMS consent box shown right above the Save button, and save.
- Each linked store defaults to email notifications. To switch a specific store to text instead, click the "🔔 Notifications" button next to that store in your Linked Store Locations list, choose SMS, and save.
Text messages are opt-in
Nothing is texted to you unless you've entered a phone number, explicitly checked the SMS consent box, and switched at least one store to the SMS channel. Reply STOP to any text at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.
What to expect from sale notifications
Important — please read
Sale notifications are
not instant, whether by email or text. CA Enhancer checks for new sales roughly once an hour, and delivery (email or SMS) adds its own time on top of that — so there can be a real delay between a sale happening and you finding out. Notifications also aren't guaranteed: delivery depends on services outside our control, and can occasionally be delayed, filtered as spam, or lost entirely. We recommend still checking your ConsignorAccess activity page directly for anything time-sensitive.
If you have more than one store linked, sales are combined into a single notification each time we check, as long as those stores are all using the same notification channel (all Email, or all SMS) — rather than sending you one message per store, so one email or text might mention activity from several different stores at once. If you've set some stores to Email and others to SMS, you may get one consolidated message per channel that cycle instead of just one overall.
SMS has an extra wrinkle email doesn't: text messages are capped at 160 characters. If a busy hour or a long store name pushes past that limit, CA Enhancer automatically shortens the message — first by trimming long store names, and if it's still too long, by dropping individual item detail entirely in favor of a one-line summary (e.g.
"3 sales across 2 stores, $47.50 total. Check ConsignorAccess for details."). Email notifications never truncate this way and always include full itemized detail.
If notifications stop working, or something looks wrong, please
let us know with as much detail as you can — the store name, roughly when the sale happened, and when (or whether) you expected to hear about it. That detail genuinely helps us track down and fix real problems quickly.
Managing your account online
You can also log in from a web browser at app.theknottycraftersllc.com to view your linked stores, change your email, reset your password, or manage your notification destination and per-store notification settings — no extension needed for this part.
Updating CA Enhancer to a new version
Since CA Enhancer is installed from the Chrome Web Store, updates now happen automatically in the background — there's nothing you need to do. Chrome periodically checks for new versions and installs them on its own.
What stays the same
Your account, linked stores, and settings all live on our servers, not inside the extension itself — updating to a new version never affects any of that. If you want to be sure you're on the latest version right away, refresh any open ConsignorAccess tabs, or visit chrome://extensions, turn on Developer Mode, and click "Update" to check manually.
Canceling Premium
- Log in at app.theknottycraftersllc.com
- Click Manage Billing
- You'll land on Stripe's secure billing page — cancel your subscription there
What happens next
Premium features stay active through the rest of your current billing period — you won't lose access early. Once that period actually ends, your account automatically reverts to the free tier (nothing is deleted — your linked stores and account stay exactly as they are), and we'll send you a confirmation email at that point. You're welcome to resubscribe anytime.
Troubleshooting
I never got the verification email
Check your spam/junk folder first. If it's still not there, contact us directly and we'll help sort it out.
I forgot my CA Enhancer password
Click "Forgot password?" on the login box (in the extension or at app.theknottycraftersllc.com), enter your email, and follow the link that arrives.
"Link This Store" isn't working
Double check you're entering your real ConsignorAccess password on the portal tab (not your CA Enhancer one — easy to mix the two up). If it still fails, reach out to us directly with your store name and we'll take a look.
A column or table looks wrong, or a button seems missing
Occasionally the browser holds onto an outdated view of the page after an update. A simple refresh of the page (F5, or the reload button) usually clears this right up.
I made a sale but haven't gotten a notification yet
This is usually just timing — sales are checked roughly once an hour, not instantly, and email or SMS delivery adds a bit more time on top. Give it a full hour before assuming something's wrong. If it's genuinely been longer than that with no notification, let us know with the store name and roughly when the sale happened.
I set up text notifications but nothing's coming through
Double check three things at app.theknottycraftersllc.com: a phone number is saved under Notification Destination, the SMS consent box was checked when you saved it, and the specific store is actually switched to the SMS channel (each linked store defaults to email until you change it). The "Send Test Notification" button next to a store is the fastest way to confirm the whole path works. Still nothing? Let us know and we'll take a look.
Still stuck on something? Email contact@theknottycraftersllc.com and we'll help you get set up.
